Natural Forces

2017-2018

Working with material expert Martha (Gamblin) Bergman I've been exploring archival ways of combining inks and watercolor with oil paints, mostly done on Stone paper mounted on panel. Inks and watercolors are ephemeral and can be brilliant. Oil paint marks can express Chi energy. Together they offer the Ying and Yang of Painting possibilities.
